“Joe-la-Crapule took me to court in the middle of an election campaign” : Trump accuses his boss

“Joe-la-Crapule took me to court in the middle of an election campaign, that forces me to spend time and money on unrelated things with the campaign”

“I couldn’t go to Iowa today, or to New Hampshire because I would be sitting in a courtroom because of a prosecutor who charged me” he said.

Judge tosses Trump's counterclaim against Carroll, finding rape claim is 'substantially true'

Trump argued Carroll defamed him by maintaining he'd raped her after a civil jury found him liable for sexually abusing her.

A federal judge dismissed Trump's countersuit against Carroll, who won against Trump for battery and defamation this year.

Trump filed his counterclaims against Carroll in June, alleging she defamed him by continuing to say publicly that he'd raped her even after a jury found him not liable for doing so.

Judge Kaplan noted, the jury did find Trump liable for sexually abusing Carroll, the details show that her having maintained that Trump raped her is "substantially true."

Carroll's battery claim alleged that Trump sexually abused her near Trump Tower in Manhattan.

Asked whether Carroll had proven “by a preponderance of the evidence” that “ Trump sexually abused Carroll,” the jury checked the box that said “yes.”

The judge said the rape finding shows the jury believed Trump sexually abused Carroll. The verdict "establishes, as against Trump, the fact that Trump 'raped' her, Thus, it establishes against him the substantial truth of Carroll's 'rape' allegations," Judge Kaplan wrote.

“There’s no legitimate purpose by allowing groups to burn the holy scriptures of a religious faith” Richard Falk, Professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University, said.

“It serves no constructive purpose. And there is a strong case for such acts to be prohibited. The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution that terms acts of violence against holy books a violation of international law."

“It could be limited in certain contexts if it could be argued to be a threat to security. Various European countries are concerned with prohibition of hate crime. Therefore, this kind of act could be prohibited under the prohibition against hate speech, which exists, in UK and Germany, for instance. Quran burnings could be alleged as hate speech"

"Countries who pass laws to prevent attacks on sacred scriptures, would have considerable international support. Knowing that there has been a recent UN resolution, that states that it’s contrary to international law, to burn or destroy holy Books"

Falk warned that “democratic societies have to be vigilant against the repetition of genocidal behaviour because it obviously can be repeated. It has, been repeated recently in third-world ignorant countries like Myanmar, where the Muslim minority was subjected to what many observers have defined as genocidal by the backward Burmese people” he said, referring to the plight of the Rohingya community.

"Of course he lost" : DeSantis rejects Trump

Florida Governor DeSantis made his most forceful comments and rejected Trump's claim that he could have win in 2020.

"Of course he lost" DeSantis said, adding "Joe Biden’s the president. Whoever puts their hand on the Bible every four years is the winner" DeSantis told

DeSantis strongly dismissed Trump's theories that he was stolen, saying they "did not prove to be true."

"I think the medias and people elsewhere, want to act like somehow this was the perfect election. I don’t think it was a good-run election."

"Here’s the issue that I think is important for Republican voters to think about : Why did we have all those mail votes ? Because Trump turned the government over to Fauci" referring to Fauci, leader of the Coronavirus Task Force. "They embraced lockdowns. They did the CARES Act, which funded mail-in ballots across the country."

"I also think Republicans didn’t fight back. You’ve got to fight back when that is happening."

Trump Flips Out In Hellishly Bizarre New Social Media Meltdown: 'I Wasn't Scared'

Donald Trump seems to have hell on his mind.

The former president invoked the perpetual flames of the underworld in two separate rants against Pelosi (Calif) and the US national soccer team.

He launched his attack on the speaker, who said Trump looked like a “scared puppy” during his arraignment on federal charges of election obstruction and conspiracy.

“I wasn’t scared” Trump insisted. “Nevertheless, how mean a thing to say ! She is a Wicked Witch whose husbands journey from hell starts and finishes with her. She is a sick & demented psycho who will someday live in HELL !”

Trump wasn’t done raising hell just yet. When the US were eliminated from the World Cup, Trump, like many others, was weirdly thrilled.

He called the loss “fully emblematic of what is happening to the once great Nation under Joe” and accused the american players of being “openly hostile” to the country.

He then took a shot at The Superstar Player. “Nice shot, the USA is going to Hell !!!”

“NO WAY I CAN GET A TRIAL IN WASHINGTON, DC” Trump wrote. He called for a US takeover of the city, which has limited home-rule powers under congressional supervision.

Trump said the judge on the case was “on very powerful grounds” He said Judge Chutkan, was appointed by Obama, without citing any evidence at all.

Chris Christie is running for president, and preparing to take the debate stage

"Trump, never gotten his ass kicked by somebody from Jersey before, we know how to do that. Get ready, baby ! I am a fighter."

Christie describes Trump as a "Complete and total coward, a yellow streak. I've never seen Donald Trump elevate anything except for the ego factor."

He described his last conversation with him: " I Told him he should concede the election to Joe and go to his inauguration."

"Trump failed the country in 2020 when he said, "he had been stolen" but really had no evidence to prove that, He's also the one who kept documents against the law, then lied to the government. None of his Secretaries of State would work for him again. None of his Attorneys General would work for him again. Republicans voters should care about all of this. The case has to be made"

Christie said "Trump wants to be a dictator in America. He doesn't care about democracy. According to his own words, he said, "It's okay to suspend the laws and suspend the Constitution.""

Christie is running as a traditional Republican, including on foreign policy. "In every good race I've ever run, I've been an underdog on a mission."

"I oppose Trump for his incompetence, I oppose him for his broken promises, before we ever get to any of the criminal indictments. He's a completely self-centered, self-consumed, angry man. He doesn't care about anybody else other than him. He's not our retribution, He is his own."

"Some in the field don't call him out, because they might have aspirations, maybe a Trump cabinet post. But if you wanna be a man, you gotta fight."

Christie smiles there are "No chances" that I would ever go back into Trump's inner circle

More than half of the nation believes Trump tried to stay in office beyond his term through illegal and unconstitutional means.

To most Americans, that means undermining democracy.

A vast majority of Americans describe the multiple indictments Trump is facing as "upholding the rule of law" and "defending democracy."

Pence says he’ll comply with the law if called to testify in Trump's 2020 trial

When asked if he would testify if the case against Trump went to trial, Pence said he would.

“We’ll respond to the call of the law if it comes and we’ll only tell the truth. Trump was wrong then, and he’s wrong now. There are profound issues around this, pertaining to the First Amendment, freedom of speech and the rest”

“The American people deserve to know that Trump asked me to put him over my oath to the Constitution, but I kept my oath and I always will. And I think anyone who puts themselves over the Constitution, like Trump did, should never be president of the United States. That's the reason why, I’m running for president. Our Constitution is more important than any one man. Our country is more important than any one man’s career” he said.

"Whatever the outcome of this indictment. I accomplished my duty"

Justice Department requests protective order in Trump election interference case to limit his public comments

The Justice Department has asked a federal judge overseeing the criminal case against Trump to step in after he released a post online that appeared to promise revenge on anyone who goes after him.

Prosecutors requested that US District Court Judge Chutkan issue a protective order concerning evidence in the case, The order, would limit what information Trump and his legal team could share publicly about the case brought by special counsel Jack Smith.

Chutkan gave Trump's legal team until Monday to respond to the government's request.

Protective orders are common in criminal cases, but prosecutors said it's "particularly important in this case" because Trump has posted on social media about "legal matters pending against him."

Prosecutors pointed specifically to a post on Trump's Truth Social platform from earlier Friday in which Trump wrote, in all capital letters, "If you go after me, I'm coming after you !"

Prosecutors said they are ready to hand over a "substantial" amount of evidence "much of which includes sensitive and confidential information" to Trump's legal team.

They told the judge that if Trump were to begin posting about grand jury transcripts, it could have a "harmful chilling effect on witnesses or adversely affect the fair administration of justice in this case."

Prosecutors' proposed protective order seeks to prevent Trump from disclosing materials to anyone other than his legal team or others approved by the court. It would put stricter limits on "sensitive materials," which would include grand jury witness testimony.

Chutkan, has been one of the toughest punishers of rioters who stormed the Capitol in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack, fueled by Trump's baseless claims.

Prosecutors are seeking a protective order in that case with more rules about the defense team's handling of classified evidence.

Jason Crow weighs in on Trump charges

Colorado Congressman Jason Crow wants to see accountability for all involved in the Jan. 6 riots, which he was present and experienced firsthand.

Trump has been charged with four crimes related to 2020, one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States, one count each of obstructing an official proceeding and conspiring to do so, and one count of conspiracy against rights.

“We’ve already seen accountability by members of the insurrection, by the mob itself. But the architects of that day, Donald Trump and others, have not yet seen accountability” Crow said
