Pour cette édition 2024, les distinctions de meilleur entraîneur d’une équipe masculine/féminine font leur apparition. À noter la présence de deux français : Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) et William Saliba (Arsenal). Pour déterminer le grand gagnant, le jury tiendra compte, tout comme l'an passé et, de manière plus générale, des éditions précédentes, des performances individuelles, des résultats collectifs, mais aussi du fair-play du joueur.
Qui sont les grands favoris pour cette année ?
Suite au sacre du Real Madrid en Ligue des champions ainsi qu'en Liga à l'issue de la saison passée, deux noms ressortent tout particulièrement : celui de Vinicius Junior tout d'abord, qui a été décisif tout au long de la saison, inscrivant des buts cruciaux lors de matches importants (face au Bayern, au Barça, ou encore à Dortmund). L'Euro 2024, qui a eu lieu l'été dernier, pourrait toutefois avoir sérieusement changé la donne. Suite à la grande victoire de l'Espagne face à l'Angleterre, des joueurs tels que Rodri, Lamine Yamal ou encore Dani Carvajal (qui est par ailleurs capitaine du Real) sont considérés comme des prétendants plus que sérieux au titre.
