Exposure = the situation of people, housing, production capacity, infrastructures and other human tanglible assets located in the prone-hazard area
Measure of exposure can include the number of people or the type of assets located in the pro-hazard area

vulnerability=how bad will the damage be
the conditions determinated by social physical economical environmental factors or processes wich increase the susceptibility of a community, an individual, systems or an asset to the damage of the hazard

Mitigation=the combination of all strenghts, skills, knowledges, ressources, attributes within a community, a society, an organisation to manage to reduce disaster risk and to strenghter resilience

capacity may include skills, knowledge, social skills and also collective attributes such as relationships, leaderships and management

risk=the potential loss of life, property damages, injuries, destroyed or damaged assets wich could occur to a system, a community or a society in a specific period of timedeterminated probalistically as a function of hazard, exposure, vulnerability, capacity

the perception of risk can differ
