Résumé du film
Dans un futur relativement proche, la Terre se meurt, frappée par la sécheresse et la famine. Au Texas, Cooper, ancien pilote de la NASA, veuf, tente de s'occuper dignement de ses enfants. Après une tempête de sable, il découvre, au sol, des traces de poussières qui semblent indiquer des coordonnées géographiques en langage binaire. Avec sa fille, Murph, il en suit le chemin. Tous deux se retrouvent bientôt dans un centre scientifique secret de la NASA, où le professeur Brand et sa fille travaillent à la fabrication d'une fusée capable d'envoyer un équipage très loin dans l'espace, à la recherche d'une planète hospitalière.

À ne pas manquer
Toujours épris de grandeur, Christopher Nolan signe une fresque spatiale des plus spectaculaires au scénario riche et complexe. Si Matthew McConaughey est impeccable en pilote rebelle, le reste de la distribution n'a pas à rougir et porte ce grand spectacle SF à l'ancienne vers des sommets. Superbe !
