Pourquoi des noms distincts alors que ce sont des provinces françaises limitrophes au pays ?

C'est une question c'est a vous de me répondre.. Pourquoi la Belgique ou la Suisse ont un nom différent sachant que c'est francais et collé au Pays.. Pourquoi c'est pas des basiques région comme la Lorraine ou l'Aquitaine je sais pas..
