Résumé du film

Les habitants d'un bourg américain vivent dans la peur de créatures mystérieuses avec lesquelles ils ont passé un pacte : ils ne pénètrent pas les bois et les monstres n'entrent pas dans le village. La couleur rouge est bannie de la communauté, car elle est censée attirer "Ceux dont on ne parle pas". Le jaune, au contraire, protège les habitants. La jeune Ivy, aveugle, est amoureuse de l'aventureux Lucius. Un jour, ce dernier reçoit un coup de poignard de la part de Noah, un voisin jaloux et déséquilibré. Son état est grave. Ivy propose de traverser la forêt pour aller chercher de l'aide.

Résumé du film

A Bucks County, dans l'Etat américain de Pennsylvanie. Graham Hess a renoncé à sa charge de pasteur depuis la mort accidentelle de sa femme. Un matin, ses enfants Bo et Morgan lui annoncent que des mystérieux cercles ont été dessinés dans son champ de maïs. Graham refuse de croire à un phénomène surnaturel et soupçonne ses voisins d'être les auteurs de ce méfait.
