le commentaire sous la vidéo de quelqu'un qui a vraiment l'air de bosser sur le genre de base style 51, vu les détails et la façon dont il raconte ça a vraiment l'air no fake et ça démystifie pas mal le truc :
Frankly there are 3 issues with Gallagher and his interview when he was on a talk show today after this hearing...
1. He is talking in Military Lingo and Acronymns that have specific meaning to us that is engraved psychologically into enlisted and officer noggin the day you get off a bus screamed at. Why does this matter so much? Our purpose and mission is totally different than the American public. It's not devoted around freedoms and expressions and human rights for us. But to defend a constitution for you guys and fight in whatever capacity we have (9/10 are support not combat infantry...not all Rambo or Act of Valor) We are under military law of the UCMJ... not SCOTUS or US Code or whoever else is a federal bureaucracy as well as our own special prison (Fort Leavenworth...it sucks) We are government property too and we can get in trouble for going on MMA Fights, BMX Tournaments or other risky behavior without Commander Approval if seriously injured ending our careers. We do whatever the government says for the mission of the US...not our personal interest. We don't really answer to the people and to an extent Congress/Senate as you can tell is also limited. Even Donald Trump had a hard time controlling brass at the Pentagon and even the CIA/DIA. We even have our own mini cities and Starbucks on Navy Ships. We have high schools in foreign bases overseas for families. Veteran Benefits are untaxable (IRS Exempt). It's not a conspiracy we are against the US or any dumb plan Alex Jones said before. We are just different. Veteran are given TAP or Transition Assistance Program as we leave the military and try to adjust. One training is reminding us saying things like Use Of Force Model or Special/Controlled Access Programs or On a Need To Know Basis or Uniform Code of MILITARY JUSTICE (sounds like Judge Dredd shit to a civilian) would probably confuse and scare away HR interviewing us lol. It's happened to me more than once. And Gallagher coming to my original attempt and long explanation...is just...different. We are different. It's not ill intentioned. It's just automatic programming we can't get rid of. Same for the Pentagon and DoD Brass. Same shit. It's our culture and somewhat toxic and obtuse. It's not a conspiracy
2. Mr Meat Suit is on sensationalism. He doesn't know jack about the military or history and is into more conspiracy topics than actual proven historical evidence or declassified reports any scientific discovery. He is into sports and being an entertainment broadcaster which is fine. It's fun and freedom and it's his career. Everyone enjoys themselves. But he isn't really connecting with Gallagher either. From talking about Bob Lazar (that guy is ... a twat muffin). To his conspiracy belief we are all aware of aliens and space crafts and all in on the secret (Groom Lake is a lot more nuanced and not as secure as Nuclear Sites where you probably have a high chance of getting shot dead Stepping past the gate...and it's happened several times at nuke bases over 70 years...Groom Lake...nope). And we don't always use the latest greatest amazing shit either. Sometimes if it ain't broke and works...don't fix it or reinvent the wheel. Example... M2 Browning has been around since WW1 and for a while some WW2 version M2 Machine Guns were still in service about 80 years later. We still use B52 airframes from 1950s and the same MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) design as 40 years ago...hasn't changed. Even classified stuff is still being used that is older than your parents (I know...) and some things are highly advanced tech that's also classified. But it's not anything unknown to scientific discovery. It's just engineered for military use and that trade/operational secret can't be publicly known for safety reasons. It may appear it's some new scifi shit...but frankly it's just because when you got a federal reserve printing you hundreds of billions for a defense budget 4 times the size of China's...you can build a lot of cool toys. We can build rail guns and laser weapons and an army of robot attack planes...it's just do we have the money? All of which are old tech now.
3. Nuclear Security/Maintenance/Missilier from an operational perspective isn't his expertise so he doesn't really get how the culture is or the general capabilities or limitations. And the other issue is we really can't talk about how we do our job to anyone. There are some YouTube videos released by the Air Force and some news articles and declassified reports giving details...but we still can't individually mention. So it makes it harder to come forward. Also any time we'd report something that isn't NORMAL ...shrink time.... security clearance suspension or review...possibly discharged...lose all the benefits and nice salary. This applies from E1 to even NCOs and COs and maybe higher? So the system in place policing itself not to keep secrets...but to kick out any mentally unstable wackos from getting near not just a nuke but an automatic firearm in general. Even tenfold the strictness in nukes...far more than Groom Lake. You have no idea how fucking serious they take nuke issues. It's like living hell these bases and duties. Necessary but sucks.
Search UFOs Montana and you can find a detailed map and history of cases and compare it to a map of all US Nuclear Silos and Missile Alert Facilities (MAF). Silos are not where the personnel are as most believe. You can tour some decommissioned sites if you ever go visit. They do them regularly for the public and former USAF personnel show you around. I went to one to get an idea of past experiences while I served there.
I commented a long reply about some aspects that might help in detail understand better...
Also...
Nuke bases are not like esoteric alien space ship housed secret bunkers like Predator vs Aliens or Terminator series.
We got a fucking Burger King, high school, some wife getting banged by Jody probably while hubby is deployed, Chinese delivery driving on, girls popping into dorms to romp on some Airman dick, drunk Airman on base crashing into something, someone exterminate termites or mice, filing up their Mustang, gaming Valorent in the dorms...
Normal stuff.
We usually get told nearly everything as a possible security threat and prepare for it in nonstop training or studying and it's annoying as fuck similar to Korea always doing MOP Gear exercises year round when KJU starts testing stuff.
But UAP incidents are rarely if never fully reported and documented. Nobody has a clue. It looks embarrassing also. And nobody wants to wreck their life's work or career and support system economically over 👽 scifi flick rumors and get booted out for whatever reason. Plus we are too busy to deal with this stuff we can't rely categorize or explain or properly report on or respond to anyway...people in the field need to eat sleep bath do paperwork go to sites have work orders whatever to do that Malmstrom is breathing down our neck.
It's just not a priority (sounds like a lazy excuse) but we just move on and forget it.
Kind of like Cmdr from the Navy F18 video... meh ok whatever move on with life...cool...what's next?
Résumé
'''
